Graham Rudge Memorial Golf Day - Feedback
 
The golf day was eventually won by Pete Boon.   Joe stubbs had a memorable round until he decided to break both his driver and his 3 wood on the 13th hole.
 
Longest drive was won by Greg Barton and the nearest the pin was won by Joe Stubbs.
 
A total of 18 people participated with the highest stapleford points scored by Greg 'The Bandit' Barton who scored 40 points and the Lowest points scored (10) by Jack Flounders.
 
After the game a 2 course meal was had at the Golf club followed by drinks and the presentations at the Gloucester City Wingate Cricket Club.
 
The turn out was slightly disappointing but a good day was had by all. We are looking to arrange it earlier next year to try and encourage more people to take part and enjoy a great day of Golf.

Starting back in the New Season - Saturday Competition - Open The Box

Reserve a number on the official list for £1.00 . . .  be in the Clubhouse at 7.00 p.m. on Saturday when the randomiser is used to select the winning number.

The person who purchased that winning number has the chance to select one key from a bag of keys and tries to "Open the Box".. . .  if the box opens, they win the contents . . . if they fail, half of the proceeds get added to the total and the price fund increases.

If 100 numbers are sold . . 50% i.e. £50.00 goes into the box . . . . if no-one wins and the next week 200 numbers are sold, the prize fund increases by £100.00 . .  and so on until someone is lucky enough to "Open the Box".

N.B.:    The person who has purchased the number selected by the randomiser MUST without exception, but in the club to personally "Open the box" . . . .  if not, they loose their chance!
